We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer‑focused Barista to join our vibrant café team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based beverages, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty drinks according to standardized recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service counter, coffee machines, grinders, and all equipment, performing routine cleaning and minor maintenance tasks.
- Handle cash transactions, process orders through the POS system, and accurately manage daily cash reconciliation.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, seasonal promotions, and food pairings to enhance the guest experience.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies; alert the shift supervisor when re‑stocking is required.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, ensuring all beverages are prepared in a hygienic manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, including multitasking and effective communication.
- Engage with customers, respond to feedback, and resolve any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on new brewing techniques, product launches, and service standards.
- Support opening and closing duties, such as setting up workstations, restocking supplies, and completing end‑of‑day cleaning checklists.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (per company policy).
- Age: Up to 30 years old.
- Prior experience as a barista is not mandatory; fresh graduates with a passion for coffee are encouraged to apply.
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends (Monday to Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and inventory tracking.
- Team player with a positive attitude, reliability, and punctuality.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new coffee brewing technologies and menu items.
