Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential borrowers by conducting community outreach, attending local events, and leveraging personal networks to attract new members to Amartha’s loan programs.
- Provide on‑site economic counseling and financial literacy support to existing members, helping households manage cash flow, plan budgets, and improve repayment capacity.
- Perform detailed field surveys and feasibility studies on loan applications, assessing creditworthiness against Amartha’s risk‑assessment framework, and preparing comprehensive reports for the underwriting team.
- Coordinate the collection of repayments, ensuring timely payments while maintaining respectful and professional relationships with borrowers.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of client interactions, field visits, and transaction records using Amartha’s mobile reporting tools.
- Collaborate with the regional operations manager to meet weekly targets, share market insights, and propose improvements to outreach strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards throughout the loan cycle.
- Participate in regular training sessions and community workshops to continuously enhance product knowledge and field skills.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years is acceptable).
- Open to all genders; female candidates are preferred but not mandatory.
- Possession of a personal motor vehicle or reliable transportation for daily field activities.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Resilience and the physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
