Responsibilities
- Conduct face‑to‑face outreach in public spaces, schools, community centers, and corporate offices to explain YKAN’s conservation programs and their impact.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations that translate scientific data into persuasive stories that motivate donors.
- Identify, qualify, and nurture a pipeline of individual, corporate, and institutional donors, moving them through the fundraising funnel from initial interest to long‑term partnership.
- Organize and support fundraising events, workshops, and awareness campaigns, ensuring logistical smoothness and maximum attendee engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, contributions, and follow‑up activities using the organization’s CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with the communications and program teams to align messaging, share success stories, and report on the impact of donations.
- Adhere to ethical standards and YKAN’s code of conduct while representing the organization in diverse public settings.
- Provide regular performance reports, including fundraising targets achieved, challenges encountered, and recommendations for improving outreach strategies.
- Stay up‑to‑date with national environmental policies, conservation trends, and fundraising best practices to enhance the effectiveness of campaigns.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate or bachelor degree) in any discipline; degrees in environmental studies, communication, marketing, or business are a plus.
- No prior professional experience required; fresh graduates with strong motivation are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to speak confidently in public, persuade audiences, and build rapport quickly.
