Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Penanggung Jawab Apoteker to lead the pharmaceutical activities within the GG Division. This senior pharmacy role is pivotal in ensuring that all medication-related processes comply with national regulations, maintain the highest standards of patient safety, and support the overall mission of our health‑care organization. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for all pharmacy operations, overseeing drug procurement, storage, dispensing, and the preparation of necessary licensing documents such as SIP APJ and Aping.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring accurate dispensing and proper documentation of all pharmaceutical products.
- Manage inventory control, including forecasting drug needs, conducting regular stock audits, and coordinating with suppliers to avoid shortages.
- Prepare, submit, and maintain the SIP APJ (Surat Izin Praktik Apoteker) and Aping (Apotek) licenses, ensuring continuous compliance with the Indonesian Ministry of Health regulations.
- Provide clinical pharmacy support to hospital units, offering drug information, therapeutic recommendations, and medication therapy management to physicians and nursing staff.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for medication safety, handling of controlled substances, and adverse drug reaction reporting.
- Conduct regular training sessions for pharmacy technicians and junior pharmacists on best practices, ethical standards, and emerging pharmaceutical trends.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to perform periodic audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions related to pharmacy services.
- Maintain a transparent and trustworthy relationship with patients, addressing inquiries, providing counseling, and ensuring confidentiality of health information.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with the prohibition of employment in competing industries such as pharmaceutical manufacturing, distribution, or marketing while holding this position.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 or D4 in Pharmacy.
- At least 3 years of active experience holding a valid STRA (Surat Tanda Registrasi Apoteker).
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.
- Willingness and ability to obtain and manage SIP APJ and Aping licenses.
- Must not be concurrently employed by any pharmaceutical industry, distribution network, or marketing firm.
- Strong ethical foundation: honest, trustworthy, and disciplined.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and basic computer literacy.
