We are seeking a motivated Business Partner (Staff Lapangan) to join our dynamic field team. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between Amartha’s lending programs and potential borrowers, helping families secure capital to grow small businesses, improve livelihoods, and achieve greater economic stability.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage new potential borrowers through door‑to‑door visits, local events, and referrals, promoting Amartha’s micro‑loan products.
  • Conduct comprehensive household economic assessments, gathering data on income sources, expenses, and repayment capacity.
  • Perform on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk‑rating models, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide ongoing economic coaching and financial literacy support to existing members, helping them manage cash flow, budget effectively, and maximize the impact of their loans.
  • Coordinate and execute timely collection activities, documenting payment status and addressing any repayment challenges with empathy and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate field reports, update the CRM system daily, and communicate insights to the regional manager to refine targeting strategies.
  • Collaborate with local community leaders, cooperatives, and partner organizations to build trust and expand Amartha’s network.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, share best practices with peers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years as per company policy).
  • All genders are welcome; female candidates are especially encouraged.
  • Own reliable motorized transport to travel across the assigned territory daily.
  • Strong personal integrity, honesty, meticulous attention to detail, and disciplined work habits.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Resilience and toughness to work independently in field conditions, often in busy or remote neighborhoods.
  • No prior experience required; however, any background in sales, community outreach, or financial services is a plus.
