BNI Life is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Bancassurance Specialist (BAS) to join our team of representatives stationed at BNI Bank branches across the Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) area. The successful candidate will act as the primary conduit between BNI Life’s insurance portfolio and the bank’s retail clientele, delivering tailored life‑insurance solutions to individual customers. This role offers a unique blend of financial services marketing, client relationship management, and strategic sales planning within a fast‑growing bancassurance environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for life‑insurance products within the assigned BNI branch outlets.
- Identify, prospect, and nurture potential customers, guiding them through the complete sales cycle from initial contact to policy issuance.
- Conduct product presentations and educational sessions for bank staff and customers to increase product awareness and uptake.
- Collaborate closely with internal BNI staff—branch managers, tellers, and relationship managers—to integrate insurance offerings into the bank’s service menu.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions using the company’s CRM system.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to recommend enhancements to product positioning and promotional tactics.
- Participate in regular training programs, certifications, and performance reviews to continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Uphold compliance with all regulatory standards, including those set by the OJK and AAJI, ensuring that all transactions are ethically and legally sound.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; candidates with a D3 or S1 degree in any discipline are also welcome.
- Age range: 20–35 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in financial services marketing; 2 years of proven success in the bancassurance or broader financial‑services sector is preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a polished, professional appearance.
- Strong interest in sales and a proactive, goal‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with both internal bank partners and external customers.
- Not currently registered as an active member of AAJI (Association of Indonesian Insurance Companies).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools; willingness to learn BNI Life’s proprietary platforms.
