We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Guru Les Privat to join our dynamic team in Balikpapan. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality private tutoring for children and teenagers across multiple educational levels, from kindergarten to senior high school. As a private tutor, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the academic future of our students, fostering confidence, and nurturing a love for learning in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver customized lesson plans that align with each student’s curriculum, learning style, and academic goals.
- Provide one‑on‑one instruction in core subjects such as Mathematics, Bahasa Indonesia, Science, and English for learners ranging from TK to SMA.
- Conduct regular assessments, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student performance, upcoming sessions, and any areas needing additional support.
- Prepare educational materials, worksheets, and interactive activities to enhance engagement and comprehension.
- Adhere to the scheduled tutoring timetable (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and adjust sessions as needed to accommodate student availability.
- Uphold professional standards by arriving on time, dressing neatly, and maintaining a respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and the administrative team to share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Gender: Female candidates only.
- Education: Minimum D3/D4; preferably a current senior‑year university student or a graduate with a Bachelor’s degree (all majors accepted, education majors preferred).
- Age: No maximum age limit; candidates must be legally eligible to work.
- Experience: No prior teaching experience required, though any tutoring or classroom exposure is advantageous.
- Skills: Strong communication, patience, discipline, responsibility, and a genuine enthusiasm for interacting with children and adolescents.
- Subject Competency: Ability to teach subjects appropriate for TK, SD, SMP, and SMA levels.
- Appearance: Professional, tidy, and modest attire.
- Residency: Candidates residing in or near the Balikpapan placement area are preferred.
- Availability: Willingness to work the designated schedule and adapt to occasional changes.
