Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute a diverse range of premium cakes, pastries, and plated desserts that align with brand standards and seasonal trends.
  • Lead, mentor, and schedule the pastry team, fostering a collaborative culture that encourages skill development and innovation.
  • Oversee daily production planning, ensuring timely preparation while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Control inventory, conduct cost analysis, and manage waste to meet budgetary targets without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with executive chefs, front‑of‑house managers, and event planners to create customized dessert menus for banquets, weddings, and special occasions.
  • Stay current with industry advancements, experimenting with new techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles to keep the menu fresh and competitive.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, adhering to all health regulations and company policies.
  • Handle high‑volume service periods, including shift changes and peak dining hours, while preserving consistency and excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Associate degree (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Culinary Arts, Pastry & Baking, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a pastry or bakery environment, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent time‑management and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Gender: Female (per company policy) – candidates must be comfortable working in a predominantly female kitchen environment.
  • Age limit: Maximum 35 years.
  • Creative flair for cake design, chocolate work, sugar art, and modern dessert plating.
  • Proficiency in cost control, inventory management, and menu engineering.
  • Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
