Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Pemeliharaan Listrik (Electrical Maintenance Officer) to join our operations team in Ngoro. This full‑time position plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all electrical systems across our facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, production, and safety departments to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of low‑ and medium‑voltage electrical equipment, including motors, generators, switchgear, and control panels.
- Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, insulation resistance testers, voltage analyzers, and other specialized measurement tools.
- Repair or replace defective wiring, fuses, circuit breakers, relays, and other components to restore normal operation quickly.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and equipment histories in the company’s CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Collaborate with the safety team to ensure all work complies with local regulations, company SOPs, and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
- Assist in the planning and execution of major shutdowns, equipment upgrades, and installation projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices.
- Identify opportunities for energy savings, equipment modernization, and process optimization, and present recommendations to management.
- Participate in emergency response situations, including power outages and equipment failures, to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Gender: Male (Laki‑laki) as per current operational policy.
- Age: Maximum 45 years.
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably a diploma (SMK) in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience with industrial electrical systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical analysis, use of measurement instruments (multimeter, insulation resistance tester, voltage tester), and interpretation of electrical schematics.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem‑solving ability, attention to detail, effective communication, teamwork orientation, and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Other Requirements: Valid electrical work permit or certification, willingness to attend periodic training, and ability to lift moderate loads and work at heights when required.
