Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a warm first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using handheld POS systems, and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve dishes and drinks according to Tautan’s presentation standards, checking for guest satisfaction throughout the meal.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table settings, floor sweeping, and prompt removal of used dishes.
- Assist in the preparation of simple beverages and side items during peak periods to support baristas and kitchen staff.
- Handle cash and electronic payments securely, issue receipts, and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Respond to guest inquiries, address special dietary requests, and resolve any service issues with professionalism.
- Collaborate with teammates to restock supplies, refill condiments, and ensure all service stations are fully equipped.
- Participate in regular briefings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, promotional offers, and safety protocols.
- Promote upselling of specialty drinks, desserts, and seasonal items to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Open to all genders; no age limit.
- No prior experience required, though previous hospitality or customer‑service work is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate clearly in Bahasa Indonesia and, preferably, basic English.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially when handling orders and maintaining cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates safely.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
