Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Inventory Control Manager for our Hub in Bekasi City, part of the Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) area. The role is essential to maintaining the integrity of our supply‑chain operations, ensuring that every product entering or leaving the warehouse complies with strict quality, temperature, and documentation standards. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Operations Supervisor and works closely with the logistics, quality assurance, and procurement teams.
Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy of surat jalan (delivery notes) against the physical goods received, flagging any discrepancies immediately.
- Perform routine temperature checks on freezers and chillers at least twice per shift, record the readings on standardized forms, and alert maintenance if limits are exceeded.
- Cross‑check Sales Orders (SO) with inbound stock, ensuring that the quantities and SKU details match the system records.
- Document any instances of over‑receipts, under‑receipts, or bad stock, providing detailed notes for corrective action and audit trails.
- Enter received quantities into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and tag any items that cannot be accepted due to damage, expiration, or non‑conformance.
- Organize inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles to minimize waste and guarantee product freshness.
- Maintain a daily log of disposal activities, including the destruction of expired or unsellable products, and ensure proper documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Support shift hand‑overs by preparing concise reports on inventory status, temperature trends, and any pending issues.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to conduct spot‑checks and support internal audits.
- Assist in continuous‑improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements that increase accuracy, reduce lead times, and improve overall warehouse efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Male candidates, aged 35 years or younger.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related logistics role.
- Willingness to work in the Jabodetabek area and to participate in a rotating shift schedule (including nights, if required).
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is a plus.
- High level of attention to detail, ability to follow instructions meticulously, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.
- Physical agility and the ability to lift moderate loads, as the role involves regular movement of goods.
- Demonstrated responsibility, independence, and a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with WMS platforms and basic knowledge of cold‑chain logistics is advantageous.
