We are currently seeking a motivated Business Partner (Sales & Collections) to join our team in Kaliwungu, Kendal. Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new potential borrowers, focusing on women entrepreneurs who meet Amartha’s eligibility criteria.
  • Conduct in‑depth household economic assessments and provide tailored financial counseling to help clients understand loan terms and repayment schedules.
  • Perform field surveys, gather necessary documentation, and evaluate creditworthiness against the company’s risk‑assessment framework and regulatory policies.
  • Prepare comprehensive loan proposals and present them to the credit committee, highlighting the strengths and potential risks of each application.
  • Facilitate weekly group meetings with borrower collectives, ensuring transparent communication, timely disbursement of funds, and coordinated repayment efforts.
  • Monitor repayment performance, follow up on overdue installments, and implement collection strategies that balance empathy with fiscal responsibility.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, generate regular performance reports, and provide insights for continuous improvement of the lending process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including product development, risk management, and customer service—to enhance the overall borrower experience.
  • Represent Amartha at community events, local fairs, and partner meetings to strengthen brand awareness and build long‑term relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: 21 – 30 years old.
  • Gender: Open to all genders; the role serves primarily female borrowers.
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, micro‑finance, field collection, or a related customer‑facing role.
  • Strong understanding of basic financial concepts and loan application processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust in rural communities.
  • Proficiency in using mobile applications and basic office software (MS Office, Google Workspace).
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
