We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Kasir Penjualan Ritel to join our dynamic retail team. This position plays a critical role in delivering a seamless checkout experience for our customers, handling transactions accurately, and supporting overall store operations. Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to process cash, credit, and digital payments with precision.
- Verify product pricing, apply promotional discounts, and issue receipts in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, including regular cash drawer reconciliation and safe handling of funds.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, returns, and exchanges, providing clear explanations of store policies.
- Collaborate closely with sales assistants, inventory staff, and store managers to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Participate in scheduled training programs and adhere to contractual obligations, continuously improving product knowledge and service skills.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies, technical issues with the POS, or suspicious activities to management promptly.
- Support merchandising efforts during peak periods by restocking items near the checkout and promoting add‑on sales.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (as per current operational policy).
- Age: Up to 30 years old.
- Prior experience in a retail cash handling role is preferred, though fresh graduates with a strong willingness to learn are welcomed.
- Demonstrated discipline, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent teamwork abilities; able to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Willingness to undergo continuous training and sign a standard employment contract.
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer literacy.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
