Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Female Sales Promotion Girl (SPG) to join our premium cigarette brand team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast‑paced FMCG environments and possess strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities. As an SPG, you will be the face of our product line, engaging directly with retailers and consumers to drive brand awareness and sales growth across the market.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the premium cigarette brand at retail outlets, ensuring proper product placement, visibility, and compliance with brand standards.
  • Conduct on‑site product demonstrations, sampling (where legally permitted), and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers, purchase agents, and key decision‑makers to secure optimal shelf space and promotional support.
  • Negotiate terms of trade, promotional discounts, and in‑store marketing initiatives, leveraging persuasive communication techniques to achieve sales targets.
  • Collect market intelligence, including competitor activities, pricing trends, and consumer feedback, and report findings to the regional sales manager.
  • Track daily sales performance, update activity logs, and submit accurate reports using company CRM tools.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to tobacco product marketing, including age verification and advertising restrictions.
  • Participate in weekly team briefings, training sessions, and product knowledge workshops to stay updated on brand initiatives and industry developments.
  • Travel mobile across assigned territories, visiting multiple retail locations each day, and adapt quickly to varying store environments and schedules.
  • Assist in organizing in‑store events, product launches, and seasonal promotions that align with the brand’s marketing calendar.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Female gender, as specified by the client’s market research needs.
  • At least one (1) year of proven experience as an SPG in FMCG, pharmaceutical, or other retail sectors, with a strong preference for prior work promoting tobacco or similar regulated products.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasive selling skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and overcome objections.
  • Strong problem‑solving capabilities; able to think on your feet and address challenges that arise during field activities.
  • Outstanding verbal communication and articulation; confidence in presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Highly motivated, self‑driven, and comfortable working independently while adhering to a mobile work schedule.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
  • Proficiency with basic mobile technology and familiarity with CRM or sales tracking applications.
