Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Staf Akun Payable to join the Finance Department of a leading hotel and resort brand. This role is critical for maintaining strong vendor relationships, ensuring timely payment processing, and supporting the overall financial health of the property. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant experience, a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming invoices and expense reports accurately, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and local regulations.
  • Maintain the accounts payable ledger, perform regular reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with the procurement and operations teams to verify goods and services received before authorizing payments.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs, including electronic transfers, checks, and vendor credit memos.
  • Monitor vendor statements, respond to inquiries, and negotiate payment terms when appropriate.
  • Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities by providing necessary documentation and analysis for the finance team.
  • Support internal and external audits by supplying requested records and explanations.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements, automation opportunities, and cost‑saving initiatives within the accounts payable function.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial data and uphold the highest ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar accounts payable role within a hotel, resort, or related hospitality setting.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts and financial documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and, preferably, English.
  • Highly motivated, creative, and results‑driven with a guest‑oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, showing professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency with standard office software (MS Office, especially Excel) and familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during peak periods.
