Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a professional demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicate any special requests to the kitchen, and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare basic bakery items such as dough, breads, and pastries, and operate bakery equipment when needed.
- Maintain an organized Mise en Place station, ensuring all utensils, condiments, and table settings are stocked and clean.
- Handle cash transactions, process credit‑card payments, and operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with the cashier and front‑line teams to streamline service flow and reduce guest wait times.
- Address guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and follow up to guarantee satisfaction.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper food handling and workplace cleanliness.
- Participate in regular staff briefings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain a disciplined work ethic, demonstrating punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude toward colleagues and customers.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferred specialization in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or Hotel Management.
- Open to fresh graduates; however, at least 1 year of relevant experience in a restaurant or café setting is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of baking processes, including dough preparation, oven operation, and pastry handling.
- Understanding of service workflow across Service, Cashier, and Front‑liner roles.
- Fundamental grasp of Mise en Place concepts and effective consumer communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to build healthy relationships with team members.
- Disciplined, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends (Monday‑Sunday, 09:00‑17:00).
