Introduction
We are seeking an enthusiastic Frontliner Penjualan to join the retail team of Bakpia Kukus Tugu at our flagship store in Tugu, Yogyakarta (Bandara YIA). This position is the face of our beloved traditional steamed bun (bakpia) brand, providing direct service to customers, driving sales, and ensuring the store operates smoothly according to our high standards. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional attitude, answering product questions and recommending appropriate items.
- Execute daily sales transactions using the cash register, accurately handling cash, card payments, and electronic vouchers.
- Maintain the store’s visual presentation by applying the 5R methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to keep shelves, displays, and work areas clean and organized.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and coordinate with the back‑office team to replenish popular items, preventing stock‑outs.
- Collect and resolve customer complaints or store‑related issues, escalating to management when necessary while ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Prepare and submit daily sales reports, including revenue figures, best‑selling SKUs, and any noted operational challenges.
- Collaborate with fellow store staff to execute promotional activities, seasonal displays, and product launches.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation, security checks, and store cleanliness checks.
- Continuously improve product knowledge by attending training sessions and staying updated on new flavors, packaging, and brand initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑25 years old.

- At least 1 year of experience in a retail or frontline sales environment, preferably in food‑service or confectionery.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling basic accounting tasks.
- Strong selling skills with the ability to upsell and meet daily sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building rapport with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to manage stock control, perform inventory checks, and report discrepancies.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and public holidays, as store traffic demands.
