Introduction
We are a leading logistics and transportation provider operating throughout the Greater Jakarta area, with a strong focus on reliable freight services in Tangerang, Tangerang Regency, and South Tangerang. We are currently seeking a dedicated Driver Ekspedisi & Logistik (SIM B1/B2) to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods, maintaining vehicle integrity, and supporting our customers’ supply‑chain needs. The successful candidate will work full‑time, Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and will be based in one of the three major zones in Tangerang.
Responsibilities
- Plan, optimize, and execute daily delivery routes while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
- Secure cargo loads, perform pre‑trip inspections, and verify that all documentation (delivery orders, waybills, and permits) is complete and accurate.
- Load and unload goods safely, ensuring that fragile or high‑value items receive appropriate handling.
- Maintain constant communication with the logistics coordination team, providing updates on arrival times, delays, or incidents.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, such as oil levels, tire pressure, brakes, and lighting, and arrange for minor repairs or servicing as needed.
- Track and record mileage, fuel consumption, and any service activities in the company’s fleet management system.
- Assist in the preparation of shipping manifests and verify that all items match the accompanying paperwork before departure.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries at delivery sites, delivering excellent service and addressing any concerns.
- Comply with all safety standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to load‑securement protocols.
- Participate in regular safety briefings and contribute ideas for improving route efficiency and cargo protection.
Requirements
- Valid SIM B1 or B2 (General) license with no restrictions.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating trucks or large commercial vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of local road networks and traffic patterns in Tangerang and surrounding areas.
- High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; additional logistics or transportation training is a plus.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and conduct manual loading/unloading tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, to interact with customers and internal teams.
- Demonstrated reliability, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently, make quick decisions, and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to be stationed in Kota Tangerang, Kabupaten Tangerang, or Kota Tangerang Selatan.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and safety inspection procedures.
