Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Cashier – Customer Service and Transaction Handling to join our dynamic retail team. This role is pivotal in delivering a seamless checkout experience while representing the brand with professionalism and courtesy. Responsibilities
- Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems efficiently to process cash, credit, and electronic transactions accurately.
- Verify the authenticity of bills and coins, ensuring compliance with company cash‑handling policies.
- Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries about products and promotions, and provide recommendations when appropriate.
- Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, restocking bags, receipts, and promotional materials.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, preparing detailed reports for management.
- Resolve transaction discrepancies, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with store procedures.
- Collaborate with floor staff to manage peak‑hour traffic, ensuring minimal wait times and high customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to health, safety, and security protocols, including loss‑prevention measures and emergency procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment during off‑peak periods.
- Continuously update product knowledge to answer customer questions confidently.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.

- At least 0‑1 year of experience in a cashier or customer‑service role; prior experience in a retail environment is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are advantageous.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Proven capability to remain composed and productive under pressure, especially during busy periods.
- Basic proficiency with cash‑register and POS software; willingness to learn proprietary systems.
- Flexible availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime as needed.
