Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Senior Digital Media Content Editor to join our fast‑growing team in Bandung. This role is focused on producing high‑impact short‑form video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical editing skills with a deep understanding of current social‑media trends, ensuring every piece of content captures the audience’s attention within the critical first three seconds.
Responsibilities
- Plan, edit, and deliver short‑form video assets (15‑60 seconds) that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Collaborate with content creators, copywriters, and marketing managers to develop storyboards and scripts that resonate with target demographics.
- Utilize CapCut Pro and other industry‑standard editing tools to add effects, transitions, captions, and sound design that enhance viewer engagement.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics (views, completion rate, shares) to continuously refine editing techniques and content strategy.
- Stay up‑to‑date with emerging trends, challenges, and platform algorithm changes to keep the brand at the forefront of the digital conversation.
- Mentor junior editors and interns, providing feedback on workflow efficiency, creative approach, and technical proficiency.
- Maintain an organized digital asset library, ensuring all raw footage, project files, and final exports are properly labeled and archived.
- Work within the standard schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, while remaining flexible for occasional deadline‑driven overtime.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 23 years or younger, with a strong portfolio of short‑form video work.
- Residency: Must reside in Bandung or be able to commute daily.
- Proficiency in CapCut Pro; experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience editing TikTok, Instagram Reels, or similar short‑form content.
- Deep understanding of current digital trends, viral formats, and audience behavior.
- Ability to craft compelling hooks that capture attention in the first three seconds.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate ideas across cross‑functional teams.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail, time‑management, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
