To support our expanding patient base, we are seeking a motivated and professional Dental Assistant (Asisten Dokter Gigi) with at least one year of clinical experience. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and surgeries by preparing instruments, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain strict infection‑control protocols, ensuring all instruments are sterilized according to industry standards.
- Manage patient records, update treatment notes, and enter data accurately using dental software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Provide clear pre‑ and post‑operative instructions to patients, reinforcing oral hygiene practices and medication regimens.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, confirm bookings, and handle patient inquiries both in‑person and via phone or email.
- Monitor inventory levels of consumables, order supplies, and ensure that the clinic is always fully stocked.
- Collaborate with the front‑desk team to streamline patient flow, reducing wait times and enhancing overall satisfaction.
- Participate in regular staff meetings, continuing education sessions, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
- Assist in basic radiographic procedures, including taking and processing dental X‑rays under supervision.
- Uphold confidentiality and comply with all health‑care regulations, including patient privacy laws.
Requirements
- Female candidates aged 18‑25 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK; D3 in Dental Nursing (Keperawatan Gigi) is highly preferred.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a dental clinic or similar healthcare setting.
- Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Residency in Bukittinggi or surrounding areas with reliable transportation.
- Commitment to a minimum one‑year employment term.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Basic knowledge of health management principles and patient safety standards.
