Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and line cooks with ingredient preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and proper waste disposal.
- Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and store food items according to safety guidelines.
- Prepare basic sauces, marinades, and simple side dishes under supervision.
- Support the kitchen team during peak service hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, such as slicers, mixers, and ovens.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down workstations before and after each shift.
- Follow all food safety regulations, including proper temperature controls and allergen handling.
- Communicate effectively with front‑of‑house staff to coordinate order timing and special requests.
- Continuously suggest improvements to workflow, waste reduction, and overall kitchen efficiency.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Minimum 19 years old; candidates must be legally eligible to work in Indonesia.
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a kitchen or food‑service environment.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Residence: Must be domiciled in Bogor or willing to relocate.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High level of initiative, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
