Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Kitchen Operations and Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head Chef and will be responsible for coordinating daily kitchen activities, supervising staff, and overseeing the preventive maintenance of all kitchen appliances and tools. Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule kitchen staff, ensuring optimal coverage for all shifts from Monday to Saturday (08:00 – 17:00).
- Coordinate daily food preparation activities, monitor portion control, and guarantee that all dishes meet the company’s quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of cooking equipment, refrigeration units, ventilation systems, and safety devices; arrange timely repairs or replacements as needed.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of kitchen supplies, raw materials, and consumables; work with the purchasing department to place orders and minimize waste.
- Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and occupational health guidelines; lead regular cleaning drills and HACCP audits.
- Develop and deliver on‑the‑job training sessions for new hires, focusing on proper equipment handling, hygiene practices, and teamwork.
- Monitor utility consumption (electricity, gas, water) and propose energy‑saving initiatives to reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan menus, assess seasonal ingredient availability, and adjust kitchen workflows accordingly.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on kitchen performance, equipment downtime, and staff attendance for senior management review.
- Foster a positive, inclusive work environment by promoting open communication, recognizing employee achievements, and addressing any interpersonal conflicts promptly.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (per company policy)
- Age: Maximum 25 years old and unmarried
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent
- Work Experience: Prior experience in cooking or kitchen operations is preferred
