Responsibilities
- Establish friendly communication with customers, actively listening to their needs and guiding them to the most suitable products.
- Introduce new and promotional items, highlighting benefits and encouraging trial to increase conversion rates.
- Maintain the store’s presentation by organizing shelves, cleaning aisles, and ensuring merchandise is displayed according to planograms.
- Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash, debit, credit, and digital payments, while adhering to company cash‑handling policies.
- Record all sales and inventory movements accurately in the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to support real‑time reporting.
- Package purchased items securely and provide clear instructions on product use or warranty information.
- Verify incoming shipments against delivery documents, checking quantities and condition of goods.
- Conduct a monthly stock take, reconciling physical inventory with system records to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors to achieve daily sales targets and maintain high service standards.
- Participate in regular training sessions on product knowledge, customer service techniques, and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Open to candidates of any age and gender; diversity is welcomed.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Basic numeracy and proficiency with POS systems; experience with cash handling is a plus.
- Attention to detail for inventory checks and store cleanliness.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 15 kg) during stocking.
- Flexibility to work varying shift patterns as scheduled by management.
- Willingness to be stationed at Rita Supermall, Purwokerto for the duration of employment.
- Customer‑service mindset, demonstrated through previous retail or hospitality experience (0+ years acceptable).
