Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Operational Manager for the Beverage Department to join our growing hospitality team in Bukittinggi. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our beverage service, maintaining high standards of quality, and delivering an exceptional experience to our guests. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of beverage preparation, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and compliance with recipes.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to guarantee timely replenishment of coffee beans, syrups, and other consumables.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for barista stations, cleaning schedules, and equipment maintenance.
- Train, mentor, and schedule barista staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages skill development and excellent customer service.
- Monitor daily sales performance, generate reports, and identify opportunities for upselling or menu enhancements.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper sanitation of work areas and equipment.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure seamless service flow during peak hours.
- Address customer feedback promptly, turning challenges into opportunities for service improvement.
- Participate in promotional planning, seasonal menu launches, and community outreach events to boost brand visibility.
- Ensure all operational tasks are completed within the designated working hours of Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Open to candidates of any age, with a maximum limit of 0 years (interpreted as no upper age restriction).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Residence: Must be domiciled in Bukittinggi or willing to relocate.
- Experience: Prior experience in a barista or beverage service role is highly desirable, though entry‑level candidates with strong motivation are encouraged to apply.
- Personal attributes: Demonstrates seriousness about work, reliability, and a commitment to performing the five daily prayers (sholat).
- Key skills: Proficiency in coffee brewing techniques, knowledge of beverage equipment, basic inventory management, and strong communication abilities.
- Availability to work six days a week (Monday‑Saturday) during the stated shift hours.
