Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Accounts Receivable Staff to join our finance department. Responsibilities
- Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly accounts receivable reports with a high degree of accuracy.
- Verify credit sales transactions against supporting documents and ensure proper posting in the accounting system.
- Issue invoices and send payment reminders to customers in accordance with agreed credit terms.
- Communicate proactively with clients to resolve payment disputes, answer billing inquiries, and negotiate settlement plans.
- Perform regular reconciliation of outstanding balances with the sales and customer service teams to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare aging analysis reports, highlight overdue accounts, and coordinate follow‑up actions with the collections team.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical archives of all receivable documentation, ensuring compliance with internal control policies.
- Assist in month‑end closing activities by providing accurate receivable balances and supporting schedules.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline AR processes, reduce days sales outstanding (DSO), and enhance cash flow forecasting.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preference given to graduates of Accounting or Business Administration programs.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, especially accounts receivable and revenue recognition.
- Ability to generate and interpret simple financial statements and reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective customer interaction and internal coordination.
- High level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and a sense of responsibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis).
- Open to fresh graduates; prior experience is not mandatory but a willingness to learn quickly is essential.
