Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative – Customer Relationship Specialist to join our growing team in the food‑service sector. This role focuses on building and nurturing relationships with hotels, restaurants, cafés, and frozen‑food retail outlets in the Palembang area and its surroundings. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between our product portfolio and the end‑user, driving sales growth while delivering exceptional service and insight into market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular on‑site visits to food‑service customers (hotels, restaurants, cafés, and frozen‑food retailers) to understand their needs, promote product availability, and gather feedback.
  • Lead sales projects and execute promotional programs, ensuring clear communication of offers and tracking their performance against targets.
  • Perform detailed market analysis, including new‑customer profiling, competitor pricing, and demand forecasting, then develop and implement tailored sales strategies for the assigned territory.
  • Maintain optimal product stock levels within the coverage area, coordinating with logistics and inventory teams to prevent stock‑outs and over‑stock situations.
  • Collaborate closely with food‑service channel communities such as baristas, hotel chefs, restaurant managers, and café owners to co‑create value‑added initiatives and joint marketing activities.
  • Coordinate with the branch sales and marketing divisions to ensure alignment of objectives, share insights, and uphold consistent brand messaging.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company, reporting progress and obstacles to management.
  • Provide regular training and product knowledge sessions to key customer contacts, enhancing their ability to sell or use our products effectively.
  • Monitor and report on social and economic issues affecting the local market, adapting sales approaches to meet evolving customer expectations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to prepare sales reports, presentations, and forecasts for internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Maximum age: 30 years (flexible for outstanding candidates).
  • Strong management, operational, and marketing competencies with a proven ability to drive results.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, target‑oriented mindset, and excellent communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of local social dynamics and how they influence purchasing behavior.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
  • Valid driver’s licenses (SIM A and SIM C) are considered a plus.
  • Residence in Palembang or surrounding areas preferred to ensure quick market coverage.
  • In‑depth knowledge of food‑service product characteristics and applications.
  • Experience collaborating with food‑service channel communities (baristas, hotel staff, restaurant managers) is highly valued.
  • Ability to navigate and dominate the Palembang coverage area with strong local network connections.
  • Key soft skills: analytical thinking, customer relationship management, public speaking, competitive analysis, sales data interpretation, and market technical analysis.
