Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and handling of all food ingredients, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and hygiene.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment by regularly sanitizing workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment.
  • Support the lead cook during cooking sessions by following standard operating procedures (SOP) and executing assigned tasks with precision.
  • Prepare mise en place according to daily operational needs, including chopping, marinating, and pre‑cooking components.
  • Monitor and uphold the restaurant’s strict standards for food quality, presentation, and safety.
  • Assist in inventory checks, stock rotation, and reporting of any shortages or waste.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours, adapting quickly to high‑pressure situations.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance culinary skills, kitchen safety knowledge, and teamwork capabilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
  • Male candidates are preferred; must present a neat, clean appearance.
  • Age 25 years or younger.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food & beverage environment (experience is a plus but not mandatory).
  • Demonstrated discipline, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight service deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn, accept constructive feedback, and undergo on‑the‑job training.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with chefs, servers, and other staff.
  • Core culinary skills: basic cooking techniques, ingredient handling, and time management.
