Introduction
The Service Advisor Professional is a pivotal front‑line role within our automotive service center located in Yogyakarta, Central Java. As the primary point of contact for customers who bring their vehicles in for maintenance, repair, or warranty work, you will ensure every client receives accurate information, courteous service, and tailored recommendations that enhance their ownership experience. This position offers a dynamic blend of customer interaction, sales opportunity, and technical liaison, making it ideal for individuals who are passionate about the automotive industry and possess strong communication and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist every customer who arrives at the service department, establishing a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
- Collect detailed information about vehicle issues, mileage, and service history to accurately convey customer concerns to technicians.
- Explain recommended maintenance procedures, repair options, and service intervals in clear, non‑technical language.
- Present and upsell relevant products and services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, accessory installations, and extended warranties.
- Prepare and deliver written estimates, ensuring all costs are transparent and aligned with company pricing policies.
- Follow up with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on repair status and managing expectations.
- Maintain accurate service records and input data into the dealership management system using MS Excel and MS Word.
- Collaborate closely with technicians to prioritize work orders and resolve any misunderstandings about repairs.
- Achieve monthly sales targets for parts, accessories, and service packages, contributing to overall dealership profitability.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with new vehicle technologies, service protocols, and sales techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; D3 in any field is a plus.
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or automotive service advisory roles.
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and capable of basic English.
- Demonstrated negotiation and persuasive selling abilities.
- High degree of honesty, attention to detail, and organizational aptitude.
- Genuine interest in the automotive sector and willingness to continuously learn about new vehicle models and service trends.
- Open to working full‑time, Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, at our Jogja location.
