Introduction
We are a thriving bakery located in the picturesque region of Dieng, Malang, dedicated to delivering high‑quality baked goods and custom‑decorated cakes to our growing customer base. As part of our expansion plan, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Baker – Tim Produksi to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to hone your craft, lead a small team of bakers and decorators, and contribute to the creative direction of our product line.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, mix, and bake a wide variety of doughs, batters, and pastries according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
- Design, decorate, and finish custom cakes for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and seasonal promotions, ensuring aesthetic appeal and taste excellence.
- Manage daily production schedules, monitor inventory levels of raw materials, and place orders to avoid shortages.
- Supervise junior bakers and cake decorators, providing training, feedback, and support to maintain consistent output.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food‑safety protocols, including proper cleaning of equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas.
- Conduct regular equipment checks, report malfunctions, and coordinate routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop new product concepts, seasonal flavors, and visual presentations that align with market trends.
- Track production costs, suggest cost‑saving measures, and contribute to budgeting discussions.
- Ensure all finished products meet company standards for taste, texture, and visual appeal before delivery or display.
- Maintain accurate production logs, batch records, and documentation required for regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in baking and cake decoration, preferably in a commercial bakery setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in cake decorating techniques, including fondant work, buttercream piping, and artistic design.
- Strong creativity and an eye for detail to produce visually striking and delicious products.
- Excellent physical stamina and health, able to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads.
- Disciplined work ethic with a punctual, reliable attendance record.
- Possession of a personal vehicle for commuting to the Dieng, Malang location.

- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional flexibility for special events.
