Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new potential borrowers in the Dumai, Bengkalis, and Bukit Batu areas, presenting Amartha’s micro‑finance products and encouraging enrollment in the program.
- Conduct in‑field economic assessments of households, gathering data on income streams, expenditure patterns, and repayment capacity.
- Perform feasibility surveys and detailed credit‑worthiness analyses in line with Amartha’s internal policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive loan applications to the financing committee, highlighting key risk indicators and recommending appropriate loan structures.
- Accompany members to weekly group meetings, monitoring loan usage, providing financial literacy coaching, and ensuring timely repayment.
- Maintain accurate field reports, update the CRM system, and relay market feedback to the regional operations team.
- Collaborate with local partners, community leaders, and other Amartha staff to create a supportive ecosystem for borrowers.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay up‑to‑date on new products, compliance changes, and best practices in micro‑finance.
Requirements
- Male or female, maximum age 28 years (the broader posting also mentions a ceiling of 35 years).
- Minimum education: high school diploma (SMA/SMK) – candidates with a bachelor’s degree (S1) are preferred.
- Possession of a two‑wheel motor vehicle and a valid driver’s license for travel to field sites.
- Willingness to work primarily in the field and travel across Amartha’s branches as needed.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building trust with borrowers, teammates, and supervisors.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; prior experience in sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, make sound recommendations, and follow established procedures.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, with weekends off.
