Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Field Collection Officer to join our dynamic team in the Gorontalo/Limboto region. This role is a critical part of our credit management operations, ensuring timely repayment of consumer loans while maintaining positive relationships with our customers. Responsibilities
- Visit customers at their homes to conduct face‑to‑face collection of overdue credit installments.
- Achieve monthly collection targets set by the Credit Operations Manager.
- Meet daily visit quotas while ensuring each interaction follows company policy and regulatory compliance.
- Document all collection activities accurately in the mobile CRM system, updating payment status, promises to pay, and any disputes.
- Identify early warning signals of potential defaults and relay actionable insights to the credit risk team.
- Negotiate repayment plans, settlement offers, or restructuring options in line with approved guidelines.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, reinforcing trust and goodwill in the communities we serve.
- Collaborate with the call center and legal departments for escalated cases that require additional intervention.
In addition to the core duties, you will be expected to contribute ideas for improving collection efficiency, such as suggesting route optimization, leveraging digital payment tools, or organizing community outreach programs that educate borrowers about responsible credit usage.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK/MA or equivalent (Paket C).
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) with an active status.
- Own a reliable motorcycle for daily travel to customer locations.
- Smartphone with Android 8 or higher to run our collection app.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to speak local dialects is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a calm and persuasive approach to handling difficult conversations.
- Organizational ability to manage schedules, paperwork, and electronic records efficiently.
- Basic numeracy and familiarity with financial concepts such as interest, installments, and credit terms.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of field collection experience; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply if they demonstrate the right attitude and learning agility.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
