Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new potential borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door outreach, community events, and referral networking to grow Amartha’s loan portfolio.
- Provide hands‑on economic counseling and financial literacy support to member households, helping them develop realistic budgeting, savings, and repayment plans.
- Perform detailed field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk‑assessment criteria, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and submit accurate loan documentation, including income verification, collateral assessment, and repayment capacity analysis.
- Manage the full cycle of loan collection, including timely follow‑ups, reminder calls, and on‑site visits to mitigate delinquency and maintain portfolio health.
- Collaborate closely with internal credit officers, product managers, and the regional operations team to relay market insights and suggest product enhancements.
- Maintain up‑to‑date field reports, using digital tools to track leads, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Represent Amartha at local community meetings, business forums, and partnership events to strengthen brand presence and trust.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
- Age range: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years accepted for experienced candidates).
- Open to all genders; preference given to candidates with strong community ties.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for daily field travel.
- Demonstrated integrity, honesty, meticulousness, and strong communication abilities.
- Resilience, disciplined work ethic, and the willingness to work outdoors every day.
- No prior experience required, though any background in sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is advantageous.
- Proficiency in basic digital tools (e.g., mobile data entry, spreadsheet analysis) to support reporting and client management.
