Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers in the Lebak Point Wanasalam region, presenting Amartha’s micro‑loan products and encouraging enrollment.
- Provide on‑site economic counseling and ongoing support to existing borrowers, helping them manage cash flow, budgeting, and business growth.
- Conduct thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring each request complies with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk criteria, and documentation standards.
- Coordinate the full collection cycle, including reminder calls, in‑person visits, and negotiation of repayment schedules, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and respect.
- Maintain accurate daily activity logs, borrower profiles, and progress reports in the company’s CRM system, facilitating transparent communication with the back‑office team.
- Participate in regular training sessions, community outreach events, and internal workshops to continuously improve product knowledge and field techniques.
- Collaborate with local leaders, cooperatives, and partner NGOs to build trust and expand the network of potential borrowers.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years as per original posting).
- All genders are welcome; female candidates are given preference.
- Own reliable motorized transportation to travel across the assigned territory daily.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Resilience and toughness to work in challenging field conditions, often in remote villages.
- Ability to analyze financial data and assess borrower creditworthiness using Amartha’s digital tools.
- Prior experience in micro‑finance, sales, community development, or related fields is a plus, but fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
