The role of Business Partner – Staff Lapangan is a frontline position that plays a pivotal part in expanding our lending network, supporting household economies, and ensuring the seamless execution of our loan programs. This full‑time position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with the possibility of career advancement into leadership positions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential new borrowers by conducting outreach in local communities, markets, and villages to promote Amartha’s capital‑raising programs.
  • Provide hands‑on economic counseling to member households, helping them develop sustainable income‑generating activities and improve financial literacy.
  • Conduct thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring each proposal complies with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk‑assessment criteria, and documentation standards.
  • Coordinate the collection of repayments, following up with borrowers in a respectful yet firm manner to maintain portfolio health and minimize delinquency.
  • Maintain accurate field reports, daily activity logs, and digital records using Amartha’s CRM tools, feeding data back to the central office for strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with local community leaders, partner NGOs, and government agencies to strengthen trust and facilitate smoother loan disbursement processes.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and workshops to stay updated on product offerings, regulatory changes, and best practices in micro‑finance.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age range: 18–30 years (maximum 33 years for special cases).
  • Both male and female candidates are welcome; female applicants are especially encouraged.
  • Own reliable personal transportation (motorcycle or car) to travel across the assigned field area.
  • Strong personal integrity, honesty, meticulous attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to build rapport with diverse community members.
  • Resilience and toughness to work daily in field conditions, often requiring travel to remote locations.
  • Open to candidates with or without prior experience in sales, field operations, or micro‑finance; a willingness to learn is essential.
  • Basic digital proficiency for data entry and use of mobile applications during surveys.
