Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Officer (Marketing) to join our growing team in Lubuk Pakam. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by promoting our product portfolio to both existing and prospective customers. The successful candidate will operate within a fast‑paced environment, collaborating closely with distribution partners, dealers, and end‑users to ensure smooth order processing, credit evaluation, and after‑sales support. The position offers a structured Monday‑to‑Saturday work schedule (08:00 – 16:00) and is ideal for motivated professionals who thrive on meeting targets and building lasting client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Actively market and present the company’s products to existing clients and generate new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Secure orders through various distribution channels, gathering initial customer data, verifying information, and completing all necessary documentation for credit applications.
- Track the progress of each credit application, liaising with the finance team to obtain approvals and promptly communicating decisions to dealers and customers.
- Provide customers with clear information regarding payment due dates, collection locations, and any other pertinent transaction details.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and credit status using the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and after‑sales teams to ensure product availability, timely delivery, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular market visits to understand competitor activities, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and actionable insights for management.
- Uphold the company’s brand image by adhering to professional conduct and ethical sales practices at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (any discipline); fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Maximum age: 30 years.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the client).
- At least 1 year of experience in B2C sales, preferably in a similar industry; candidates with relevant experience will be given priority.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and build trust with customers.
- Demonstrated integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty in all professional dealings.
- Possession of a valid personal vehicle and an active SIM A/C license for travel within the assigned region.
- Proficiency in sales management tools, basic Microsoft Office, and familiarity with credit application processes.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
