Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Staff Penagihan Lapangan – Manajemen Aset to join our dynamic team covering the Yogyakarta area. As a field collections specialist, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the company’s assets by ensuring timely repayment of outstanding vehicle and motorcycle loans. This position offers a blend of field work, customer interaction, and analytical reporting, ideal for individuals who thrive in fast‑paced environments and possess strong communication and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site visits to borrowers’ residences, workplaces, or other designated locations to collect overdue payments for automotive and motorcycle financing products.
- Assess each debtor’s financial situation and propose tailored repayment solutions, such as installment plans, restructuring options, or temporary deferments, while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate daily visit logs, capture detailed interaction notes, and upload documentation to the central collections system to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive daily and weekly reports summarizing collection activities, progress against targets, and any escalated cases requiring managerial attention.
- Collaborate closely with the credit risk and legal departments to flag high‑risk accounts and initiate appropriate recovery actions when necessary.
- Achieve monthly collection targets segmented by product type (e.g., automotive, motorcycle) and bucket age (1‑30 days, 31‑60 days, 61‑90 days), with an average of 10 visits per day or as dictated by installment amounts.
- Observe all relevant legal statutes and internal procedures, ensuring ethical and respectful treatment of all borrowers.
- Provide feedback to the product development team regarding recurring payment challenges and suggest process improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/S1 (fresh graduates are welcome) or SMA/SMK with at least 6 months of relevant experience.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in field collections, debt recovery, or related customer‑facing roles.
- Reside in Yogyakarta and possess an in‑depth knowledge of the local geography to plan efficient routes.
- Own a motorbike and a valid SIM C, enabling flexible and timely travel to collection sites.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to de‑escalate tense situations.
- Analytical mindset to evaluate payment histories and identify viable restructuring options.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with collection management software.
