Responsibilities
- Deliver daily Qur’anic lessons to students in grades 1‑6, ensuring accurate pronunciation and proper tajwid according to established curricula.
- Prepare engaging lesson plans that integrate memorization of Juz 30, 29, and 28 with contextual understanding of verses.
- Assess student progress through regular oral examinations, quizzes, and memorization tests, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents.
- Maintain a disciplined yet supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, respect, and spiritual growth.
- Collaborate with the curriculum development team to update teaching materials and incorporate modern pedagogical methods for Qur’an instruction.
- Organize and lead weekly Qur’an recitation circles, Qur’an competitions, and community outreach programs.
- Submit weekly audio recordings of Surah Al‑Fatihah and Surah Al‑Insiyarah in MP3 format for quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school events, contributing ideas that enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain accurate attendance and grading records using the school’s digital management system.
- Uphold the school’s code of conduct, serving as a role model of Islamic ethics and professional integrity.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; higher Islamic education is a plus.
- Male candidate, aged 20 – 35 years.
- At least 1 year of proven teaching experience at the primary school level.
- Fluent in Arabic recitation with mastery of tajwid rules.
- Memorization of at least three Juz (30, 29, and 28) with mutqin accuracy.
- Preferably holds a certification in Qur’an teaching methodology or graduated from a recognized Pondok Pesantren Tahfizul Qur’an.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for record‑keeping and uploading audio files.
- Commitment to continuous professional development in Islamic education.
