Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Kasir Penjualan Ritel with a strong background in customer service to join our fast‑moving retail team. This full‑time position is based in a high‑traffic store that serves a diverse community of shoppers. The ideal candidate is a motivated woman who can create a welcoming atmosphere, handle cash and electronic transactions accurately, and support the overall sales objectives of the outlet.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to process cash, debit, credit, and mobile payments efficiently.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer, perform regular cash counts, and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering product questions and offering recommendations.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store policies while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels at the checkout area, restock promotional items, and report low‑stock situations to the store manager.
- Upsell complementary products and promote ongoing promotions to increase average transaction value.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout counter, including sanitizing equipment and arranging merchandise displays.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Prepare end‑of‑day paperwork, including sales summaries, cash reconciliation, and incident reports.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and loss‑prevention procedures, including proper handling of cash and valuables.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (per company policy for this specific role).
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old (maximum 0 years of experience required, entry‑level welcome).
- Prior experience in retail sales or cashier duties is preferred, though strong communication skills can compensate for limited background.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to engage politely with a varied customer base.
- Basic math proficiency and familiarity with POS software or willingness to learn quickly.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work Monday‑Saturday from 08:00 – 17:00.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving and customer service.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift light merchandise (up to 10 kg).
