Introduction
We are a leading multifinance institution operating across East Java, dedicated to providing flexible financing solutions to individuals and businesses. To strengthen our collection team, we are seeking a proactive Officer Remedial (Collection) for the Surabaya region and surrounding cities. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely recovery of overdue accounts, supporting the company’s cash flow, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with credit analysts, sales officers, and senior management. You will be based in one of our many branch locations, including Banyuwangi, Blitar, Bojonegoro, Gresik, Jember, Kediri, Kepanjen, Madiun, Malang, Mojokerto, Pamekasan, Pasuruan, Ponorogo, Probolinggo, Sidoarjo, Situbondo, Surabaya, Tuban, and Tulungagung.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire collection process for A/R overdue accounts, ensuring all actions are completed within established timelines.
- Conduct daily monitoring of delinquent accounts, identify high‑risk cases, and prioritize collection activities accordingly.
- Initiate contact with borrowers via phone, email, and face‑to‑face visits to negotiate repayment plans and resolve disputes.
- Prepare and submit accurate collection reports, tracking key performance indicators such as recovery rate, days past due, and portfolio aging.
- Collaborate with the credit underwriting team to understand loan terms, assess borrower creditworthiness, and provide feedback for future risk mitigation.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements related to debt recovery.
- Provide exceptional customer service, preserving the company’s reputation while achieving collection targets.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices in credit management and negotiation techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate) or S1 (bachelor) in any discipline; fresh graduates are welcome.
- At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit monitoring, or related financial services (experience is a strong advantage).
- Age limit: up to 29 years old.
- Strong understanding of multifinance business processes and a results‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
- High integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty in all dealings.
- Willingness to be placed in any of the designated locations listed above, based on domicile.
- Technical skills: familiarity with credit monitoring tools, debt‑collection software, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
