Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Operator Binding and Finishing Cetak to join our fast‑growing printing and publishing team. This role is essential for ensuring that printed products leave our facility with a professional, polished appearance that meets the high expectations of our customers. The successful candidate will work on a variety of finishing processes, from simple paper folding to sophisticated laminating, and will play a key part in maintaining the efficiency and quality of our production line.
Responsibilities
The Operator Binding and Finishing will be responsible for the end‑to‑end handling of printed orders. Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
- Wrapping and packaging completed print jobs to protect them during transport.
- Organizing, folding, counting, and cutting printed sheets according to job specifications.
- Applying adhesive and performing binding techniques such as stapling, stitching, or perfect binding.
- Operating laminating equipment to add a protective finish to documents, brochures, and promotional materials.
- Inspecting finished products for defects, ensuring alignment, color consistency, and proper binding strength.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including regular cleaning of machines and tools.
- Collaborating with the print production team to prioritize orders and meet tight deadlines.
- Documenting production output and reporting any equipment malfunctions to the maintenance department.
Requirements
Ideal candidates will meet the following minimum qualifications and possess the soft skills necessary to thrive in a dynamic printing environment.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Age: No upper age limit; we value competence over age.

- Technical Skills: Basic ability to operate binding machines, laminators, and cutting tools.
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new processes and adjust to changing production schedules.

- Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for extended periods and handle moderate lifting (up to 20 kg).
- Teamwork: Effective communication and willingness to support colleagues during peak periods.
