Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door visits, community events, and digital outreach to promote Amartha’s loan programs.
- Provide ongoing financial education and household economic counseling to existing members, helping them manage cash flow, savings, and repayment schedules.
- Conduct thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses on loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s risk‑assessment framework, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed recommendation reports for the credit committee, highlighting borrower profiles, repayment capacity, and any mitigating factors.
- Accompany members to weekly group meetings, facilitate transaction processing, and resolve any operational issues that arise during service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, survey results, and performance metrics using Amartha’s mobile data collection tools.
- Collaborate closely with regional managers, marketing teams, and product specialists to continuously improve outreach strategies and product fit.
- Travel across Kebumen and surrounding districts, ensuring consistent coverage of all target villages and market segments.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; candidates with a Bachelor’s degree (S1) are highly preferred.
- Age limit: Up to 33 years old, with no strict upper age restriction for experienced professionals.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Valid driver’s license and ownership of a two‑wheel vehicle (motorcycle) for field mobility.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to build trust quickly with rural households.
- Willingness to work primarily in the field, including occasional overnight stays in company‑provided mess housing (optional).
- Fresh graduates are welcome, as are candidates with prior experience in micro‑finance, sales, community development, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Readiness to be deployed to any Amartha branch across the country, supporting the organization’s nationwide growth strategy.
