Introduction

To keep our operations running smoothly, we are looking for a diligent Operator Sorter to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for ensuring that every package is accurately sorted, scanned, and prepared for dispatch, helping us maintain the high standards of service our customers expect.
Responsibilities
- Sort incoming parcels according to their designated destinations, ensuring each item is placed in the correct lane or bin.
- Scan the barcode of every package using handheld scanners to update the warehouse management system in real time.
- Transport sorted parcels to the appropriate pick‑up or loading area, coordinating with drivers and supervisors to avoid bottlenecks.
- Inspect received goods for damage, report any discrepancies, and document findings according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment by regularly sweeping aisles, disposing of waste, and keeping sorting stations free of clutter.
- Assist in inventory checks during shift changes, ensuring that counts match system records.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to implement corrective actions when sorting errors occur.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of personal protective equipment.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age: No upper age limit; candidates of any age are welcome.
- Gender: Male (as per current operational policy).
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Key Skills:
- Quick adaptation to fast‑paced warehouse environments.
- Basic computer literacy for barcode scanning and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail to minimize sorting errors.
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting moderate loads throughout the shift.
- Availability: Ability to work Monday through Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.
