Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs and senior kitchen staff in preparing, cooking, and plating menu items according to established recipes.
  • Perform basic food preparation tasks such as washing, chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment—including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers—safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food‑handling and hygiene protocols, including proper storage, labeling, and waste management.
  • Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and help restock supplies to avoid interruptions during service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, performing routine cleaning of surfaces, utensils, and equipment after each shift.
  • Support the team during peak periods by managing order flow, prioritizing tasks, and communicating effectively with front‑of‑house staff.
  • Participate in daily briefings and post‑service debriefs to identify areas for improvement and share feedback.
  • Follow safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment and immediate reporting of any hazards.
  • Continuously develop culinary knowledge through on‑the‑job training and optional workshops offered by the company.

Requirements

  • Maximum age: 30 years.
  • Educational background: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Prior kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn quickly is essential.
  • Basic understanding of food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and equipment operation.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail, honesty, discipline, and a sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to follow instructions and provide constructive feedback.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional adjustments during special events.
