Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Front Desk – Customer Service professional to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role serves as the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring every interaction is warm, efficient, and memorable. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strong communication skills, a genuine passion for service, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and visitors with a friendly, professional demeanor, handling check‑in and check‑out procedures accurately.
  • Answer inbound calls, respond to emails, and manage online inquiries, providing timely information about services, reservations, and policies.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date guest records in the property management system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage teams to fulfill special requests and resolve any issues quickly.
  • Handle cash transactions, process payments, and reconcile daily financial reports in accordance with company standards.
  • Monitor lobby area for cleanliness and safety, restocking brochures, forms, and promotional materials as needed.
  • Assist in preparing daily occupancy reports, room status updates, and other administrative documentation.
  • Provide concierge services such as booking transportation, recommending local attractions, and arranging tours.
  • Actively contribute to a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues during peak periods.
  • Remain composed and solution‑focused when dealing with high‑pressure situations or guest complaints, turning challenges into positive experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in front‑desk, reception, or customer‑service roles within hospitality, tourism, or related industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks simultaneously and performing well under pressure.
