Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Operator – Wheel Loader to join our heavy‑equipment team in the Riau region. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and safety of our construction and mining operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and productive operation of wheel loaders, ensuring that material handling tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate wheel loaders in accordance with company safety policies, manufacturer guidelines, and site‑specific operational procedures.
- Perform pre‑start checks, daily inspections, and routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, and checking fluid levels to guarantee optimal equipment performance.
- Load, transport, and unload bulk materials (e.g., sand, gravel, ore, or waste) efficiently while minimizing spillage and equipment wear.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, and other equipment operators to prioritize tasks, manage traffic flow, and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or incidents promptly and accurately using the company’s reporting system.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of operating hours, fuel consumption, and any maintenance performed.
- Adhere to environmental regulations, including dust control and proper waste handling.
- Participate in regular safety briefings and attend refresher training sessions to stay current with evolving industry standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of proven experience operating a wheel loader or similar heavy‑equipment.
- Male candidates only, aged 45 years or younger.
- Strong understanding of safe operating techniques, load management, and equipment inspection protocols.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new equipment, site layouts, and procedural changes.
- Commitment to strict safety practices and a proactive approach to hazard identification.
- Preference will be given to applicants residing in Riau or surrounding areas.
