Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential new borrowers, presenting Amartha’s micro‑loan products and guiding them through the application process.
  • Provide ongoing economic counseling and support to household members, helping them manage finances, improve cash flow, and grow their small businesses.
  • Conduct thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting criteria, risk policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage the full cycle of loan repayment collection, maintaining accurate records, following up on overdue payments, and fostering positive relationships with borrowers to minimize defaults.
  • Document all interactions and field activities in the company’s digital CRM system, providing timely reports to supervisors and contributing to data‑driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with regional team members and senior partners to share insights, refine outreach strategies, and support community events that promote financial literacy.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: 18‑30 years.
  • Gender: Open to all; female candidates are preferred but not exclusive.
  • Own a reliable motor vehicle for daily field visits.
  • Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work habits.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trust quickly in diverse communities.
  • Resilience and stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and manage a demanding schedule.
  • Basic digital literacy; comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and Amartha’s proprietary applications for data entry and analysis.
  • No prior experience required – comprehensive training will be provided, though previous exposure to sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is a plus.
