Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Security Officer – Pengelola Keamanan Gedung to join our facilities management team. This full‑time position is based in a modern office building that hosts a variety of corporate tenants. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, ensuring that all visitors, employees, and assets are protected around the clock.
The role follows a Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule, with daily hours from 08:00 to 17:00. Candidates of any gender who meet the educational and experience criteria are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control building entry points, verifying identification and authorizing access for employees, visitors, and service personnel.
- Conduct regular patrols of all interior and exterior areas, including parking lots, stairwells, and emergency exits, to deter unauthorized activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Prepare detailed incident reports, maintain daily activity logs, and document any security breaches or safety concerns.
- Enforce company security policies, fire safety regulations, and evacuation procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Collaborate with building management, maintenance teams, and tenant representatives to address security‑related requests and improvements.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and offering clear directions within the facility.
- Assist in the training of new security staff, sharing best practices for vigilance, communication, and conflict resolution.
- Utilize surveillance equipment, access control systems, and incident‑management software to track activity and generate actionable insights.
- Maintain a visible and approachable presence to foster a sense of safety and confidence among building occupants.
Requirements
- Maximum age of 35 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a similar security officer role is highly preferred.
- Excellent attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and a keen eye for detail.
- Basic knowledge of security equipment such as CCTV, access cards, and alarm systems.
- Physical fitness to conduct patrols and respond to emergencies.
- First‑aid certification or willingness to obtain it within the first three months of employment.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
