Introduction
Adira Finance, a leading provider of vehicle financing solutions in Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Remedial Officer / Staf Penagihan Lapangan for its Musi Banyuasin branch. This field‑based collection role is critical to maintaining the health of our loan portfolio, ensuring timely payments, and protecting company assets through professional, courteous, and lawful recovery practices. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, internal finance teams, and warehouse personnel to achieve collection targets while upholding Adira’s reputation for integrity and customer‑centric service.
Responsibilities
- Receive and review the daily visit schedule, then execute field assignments within the designated geographic area.
- Contact borrowers whose installments are approaching the due date, providing clear reminders and payment options.
- Conduct collection activities for accounts overdue by 1–60 days, negotiating payment plans and documenting all interactions.
- If necessary and after proper administrative approval, initiate vehicle repossession for financed assets, ensuring the vehicle is indeed part of Adira’s financing portfolio and that all legal procedures are followed.
- Coordinate the hand‑over of collected cash to the branch teller and the delivery of recovered vehicles to the warehouse, accompanied by complete supporting documentation (e.g., repossession reports, condition checklists, and receipt forms).
- Promote and demonstrate the use of the Adiraku mobile application to borrowers, encouraging electronic payment of installments and improving digital adoption.
- Maintain accurate field logs, update the internal CRM system in real time, and report daily progress to the collection supervisor.
- Identify patterns of delinquency, provide feedback to the credit risk team, and suggest preventive measures to reduce future arrears.
- Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and company policies during field visits, including proper identification, respectful communication, and confidentiality of borrower information.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3 preferred (any major) – candidates with high school credentials and at least two years of relevant experience will also be considered.
- Age: maximum 29 years (some listings note 33 years; the firm prefers candidates under 30).
- Gender: Male (as stipulated by the current operational requirements).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in debt collection, loan administration, or a related financial services role.
- Active SIM C driver’s license and personal motorbike for commuting to assigned territories.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging conversations.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with mobile payment platforms, especially the Adiraku app.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to follow procedural guidelines for asset recovery.
- Willingness to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00–16:00, with occasional adjustments based on field demands.
