Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Staff Internal Control to join our branch in Makassar. This full‑time position plays a crucial role in safeguarding the integrity of our operations by ensuring compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with business units, internal audit teams, and senior management to promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily operational activities at the branch to verify strict adherence to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Coordinate the dissemination and implementation of newly issued corporate policies and regulations across all business units.
- Conduct regular compliance audits, both scheduled and on‑the‑spot (field) inspections, to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform thorough document verification, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization of financial and operational records.
- Prepare clear audit reports, highlighting findings, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations for senior management.
- Assist in developing and updating internal control frameworks, risk registers, and compliance checklists.
- Support internal and external auditors during their review processes by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Participate in cross‑functional meetings to promote best practices and share insights on risk mitigation.
- Travel as needed to conduct on‑site audits at satellite offices or partner locations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Economics, Management, or a related field with a GPA of at least 2.75. Candidates with a D3/D4 qualification are also considered.
- At least 1 year of experience in audit, internal control, or a public accounting firm (KAP) is preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to present findings confidently to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated integrity, loyalty, discipline, and the capacity to work under pressure.
- Professional appearance and a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes.
